JonnyTrueLove's 3-Pack NFL Bets Week 12
ATS Last Week: 3-0
ATS This Season: 15-15
Tampa Bay Buccaneers + 4 @ Atlanta Falcons
The Falcons have now looked strong the past two weeks against the New Orleans Saints and the Carolina Panthers. That being said, I am not convinced that they have it all figured out now with their offensive line struggles and recently-revitalized defensive pass rush. I think what we are seeing is another situation of an overreaction in the markets where bettors are willing to trust Atlanta now. I’m looking to take advantage of that by taking the points with the Buccaneers in this spot. Atlanta’s run game was completely ineffective without Devonta Freeman who is in jeopardy to miss this week as well with a foot injury. Lastly, Carolina was able to move the ball at will against the Falcons defense that is still struggling but that was masked by Kyle Allen repeatedly throwing interceptions in the red zone last week. I think Evans and Godwin have a nice bounce back week here and Tampa Bay covers the spread with a chance to win it outright.
Detroit Lions – 3.5 @ Washington Redskins
Betting against the Redskins is something that I always enjoy doing and it has been profitable numerous times this season and most recently last week when we were on the Jets. We are going back to the well here with the road favorite against the Skins as Detroit heads into town. I think the line is just too small here even if Matt Stafford continues to miss time. Jeff Driskel has been solid enough and I just think the Lions are better than a touchdown favorite over this Dwayne Haskins led Washington team. The Lion has already moved one point in favor of Detroit and I wouldn’t be surprised to see it get steamed as we approach kickoff later in the week.
Jacksonville Jaguars + 3 @ Tennessee Titans
With Nick Foles at QB, I think this Jacksonville team is generally underrated. Not only has Tennessee been playing above their talent level this year but this is not a good matchup for them even at home. Jacksonville’s pass rush should be able to give the Titans offense problems and if they can bottle up Derrick Henry then I have a hard time believing the Titans will score enough points to cover here. Sharp money appears to be on my side as the Titans have received 69% of tickets backing them but the line has not moved in their favor suggesting that the bigger money is on the dog here.
